HamLink Bridge listens with an RTL-SDR and turns digital modes into text. Sending text to another station needs a licensed transceiver controlled by Hamlib, with Dire Wolf as the software TNC. Frequency stays under the operator and the country regulatory profile.
Receive (v1)
RTL-SDR Blog V3/V4. Bridge sets the country frequency in software and decodes AX.25, FT8, PSK31, and RTTY to text only.
Transmit (phase 2)
Any Hamlib-supported radio plus sound card and PTT. RTL-SDR cannot transmit. A license is required to send.
Platforms
Windows 10/11, 64-bit Linux, and Raspberry Pi OS. The phone is a companion: view text and change frequency on the PC Bridge.
