Radios, interfaces and platforms.
The first HamLink Agent implementation targets Hamlib rig control, AX.25 through a software TNC (Dire Wolf), on Windows, Linux and Raspberry Pi. The protocol is not permanently tied to one modem or manufacturer.
Radio control
Hamlib CAT/CI-V where the radio is supported. Frequency and power remain under the operator’s control.
Data interfaces
Dire Wolf KISS as the first software TNC. Hardware TNCs that speak KISS/AX.25 are in the same adapter family.
Platforms
Windows 10/11, 64-bit Linux, and 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS. macOS and dedicated hardware are future options.
